Resene's estimating guide relates paint quantity to the area, spreading rate and number of coats. Read the spreading rate for the product you plan to use, rather than treating an example value as suitable for every wall.
Measure only the surfaces included in that paint job. Deduct doors and windows, and calculate the ceiling separately when needed. An absorbent or textured surface can affect coverage, so check preparation advice before deciding on your allowance.
Compare packs and finished curtain measurements
Mitre 10's flooring listings show both square-metre prices and pack coverage. Use the pack area from the exact flooring selected: products with similar plank dimensions may contain different quantities. Apply your cutting allowance before rounding to complete packs.
